Plant Inspections & Brake Testing in Ireland
Plant inspections are thorough examinations of construction, earth-moving and quarry machinery, carried out on your site by a qualified Construction Plant Fitter and certified on the GA1 Report of Inspection.

We inspect, service and certify all of the above machinery to the highest standards, and can advise on what is needed to bring older plant back into compliance.
What the inspection checks
Structure and chassis, boom, dipper and quick hitch, hydraulics and hoses, rams and pivots, lifting eyes and points, ropes and chains, brakes and steering, guards, ROPS and FOPS, seat belts, controls, warning devices and safety decals. Findings are recorded item by item so you have a clear maintenance picture, not just a pass or fail.
Brake testing
Brake tests are carried out on mobile equipment such as dumpers and forklifts, and on quarry plant including rigid trucks and loading shovels, under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and the General Application Regulations 2007.
Certification and reporting
Every inspected machine receives its GA1 certification, synced through SiteCert so your reports are searchable online and you are reminded before certification expires. See GA1 inspections for the legal detail and intervals.
